"Legends" :- This weekend (3rd and 4th of August 2013) is "Pride" weekend here in Brighton on the south coast of England. In celebration of the LGBT community I thought I'd post this late night capture of Legends on Brighton's Marine Parade. Legends bills itself as "THE UK'S FINEST GAY HOTEL" and its website LEGENDS states "Legends Bar, Terrace & The Basement Club are also within the hotel complex. Legends Bar is the best placed gay bar in Brighton, just high enough to afford stunning sea views. Big wide windows open up onto a large terrace making Legends a great place to sip a 'Nespresso' coffee, enjoy a drink, a bite to eat or just kick back relax and enjoy the panoramic sea views whatever the time of day. In the evening Legends is a sophisticated, vibrant, relaxed friendly bar and then a late night bar into the early hours. If dancing is your thing then get down to The Basement Club; a unique, sexy and gorgeous subterranean club. You'll find great music played by a diverse range of DJs who have played at some of the Europe's most famous gay venues."
"Natural Path" :- This shot was captured in the graveyard of the Grade II listed Stanmer Church in the village of Stanmer within stanmer Park, Brighton, England. Stanmer's recorded history goes all the way back to 765 ad and a church was built in the Middle Ages on the same site (records of it go back to 1232) but it was demolished in the 1800's so that the new Stanmer Church could be built. On the 29th December 2008 the Diocese of Chichester declared the church redundant and therefore it was no longer open for regular public worship.
"Arms of Fire" :- A view of Brighton's coastline at sunset as seen from the Western arm of its mighty Marina on the south coast of England. The strange cloud formation caught the light and created these wonderful fiery tendrils which seemed to mirror the coastline itself. Because I'd had an intuitive feeling about the evening I made sure that I was already out on the Marina arm and waiting to catch the reflections of the sunset in the English Channel as it gently lapped on the pebbled beach.
