"Open Arms" :- I spotted this beautiful looking tree as I was walking through the Cuckmere Estuary on my way back to where I'd parked my car. The River Cuckmere , twists, turns and winds it's way through to the sea which means you have to cross via the road bridge at the far northern end. This is all very well but once you realise you are an hour and a half away from your car with a river between you and it there's nothing that can prepare you for the sinking feeling of realising you have to go the long hour and a half way back!
"Marina & Groyne" :- An old Victorian breakwater sits in the foreground on Brighton beach (UK) with the town's huge marina wall (built in the late 70's and early 80's) in the background. It was a cold and blustery day. The waves were rolling in a boisterous manner and making the air taste salty. The sun was out and shining away but everything felt cold. It was simply another day on the coast!
"Little Monkeys" :- I have to admit i absolutely love this image. It was captured way back on the 3rd February 2007 during the Chiang Mai Annual Flower Festival. On the Saturday they held a huge parade that lasted for hours and these 'little monkeys' were making the most of it. Much to my delight a couple of them 'broke rank' and were happy o ape about for the camera.
